Merger Creates Largest Online Independent Toy Retail Network

Denver, CO & Erlanger, KY Ty's Toy Box, LLC and All Aboard Toys, LLC today announced the merger of their two companies, creating the largest independent toy destination for licensed character merchandise available online. Ty Simpson, current CEO of Ty's Toy Box, will be CEO of a newly-formed holding company which combines the businesses of both entities, while Dave Carlson, current CEO of All Aboard Toys, will serve as Chairman of the Board.

Though financial details behind the merger were not disclosed, the companies plan to continue to operate AllAboardToys.com and TysToyBox.com independently, maintaining their established business operations while taking advantage of the unique strengths of both teams to grow and expand the combined entity. Colorado-based AllAboardToys.com and Northern Kentucky-based TysToyBox.com have been two of the fastest growing character based independent online toy stores over the past five years and the companies' operations will continue at their current locations, taking advantage of the eastern location of TysToyBox.com, whose operations and distribution centers are located mere minutes from the Cincinnati airport.
